Reviewing and approving timecards

Once timecards have been submitted, you will need to review and approve them before they become available in your reports. This can be done under Employees > Review Timecards.

To approve or reject timecards individually (Managers only):

  1. Click on the employee's name.
  2. Verify that the time entries are correct.
  3. Click the Approve button.
    OR
  4. If something is wrong on the timecard, click the Reject button and ask the employee to correct it. Alternatively, you can approve the timecard and make the changes yourself by going to Jobs > Enter Employee Time.

You can also review timecards directly from the Crew tab in the BuildKeeper mobile app.

To approve timecards in a batch (Managers only):

  1. On the Pending Timecards calendar, click the date for the day you would like to approve timecards for.
  2. If all the timecard hours are correct, click Approve All.
